This page lists the cookies and browser storage Enginow uses across the learning platform, the store and the dashboard, and how you can control them.
What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a site. We also use localStorage for things like your cart and theme, which behaves the same way in practice. Both are covered here.
What we use
- Essential: your sign-in session, sign-in security and abuse prevention. The dashboard, enrolments and checkout do not work without these.
- Functional: cart contents, recently viewed courses, theme and interface preferences.
- Referral: when you land on Enginow through a shared link that carries a referral code, we store that code so the person who referred you is credited if you sign up. It is not used for advertising.
- Analytics: aggregated page views and device type so we can keep pages fast and spot broken flows.
We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third parties
Razorpay sets its own cookies inside the payment window, and Google may set cookies if you choose Google sign-in. Those are governed by their own policies, not this one.
How long they last
Session cookies clear when you close the browser. Your sign-in session lasts up to 30 days unless you sign out. The referral code expires after 30 days. Preference storage stays until you clear site data.
Managing them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies signs you out and stops checkout and assessments from working. Clearing site data also empties your cart and resets preferences.
